The process involves treating the bed with a UV-C sterilising lamp, which kills the bacteria and helps eradicate the dust mites. There’s also a vibrating pad feature that agitates the bed, releasing the dust mites that are hooked within it; and finally a vacuum with a two stage Micro Allergy Filtration system that efficiently removes the dust mites and their faeces and prevents the allergens being released back into the atmosphere.

As air enters the unit, it is channelled into the air purification chamber. In the chamber, the air is exposed to intense levels of germicidal ultraviolet light for destruction of organics. These powerful wavelengths also energize the gaseous contents of the air producing purifying plasma that destroys bacteria, viruses, fungi, VOCs, and other organics as well as neutralize unpleasant odours. Also in the chamber, particulates such as dust and smoke are bombarded by photoelectrons to remove them from the air. The ultra-purified air is then blown back into the room carrying with it the "purifying plasma" which then circulates throughout the building destroying harmful pollutants.
